Cooks who appreciate their knives know that end grain butcher blocks are the best surface that you can be cutting on.

Wood grain is like holding a bundle of straws, if you lay them flat and try to slice through them it will take a lot of effort and put lots of wear on the blade. But, if you hold the bundle vertically the knife slides down between each straw with almost no effort and wear.

The combination of a great cutting surface and the attractive pattern you get from the process of assembling butcher block makes cutting boards like these a staple in professional and home kitchens everywhere.

All items are built to order. Please allow 1-2 weeks after purchase before item is ready.

Local pickup is preferred, local delivery (to the Willamette Valley area) is available.

National shipping is available, but more involved. Furniture is big and heavy, which makes shipping expensive. We don’t make flat-pack, knock down pieces so that means custom crates are sometimes necessary. We would be happy to ship any item to wherever you are, but we put this disclaimer here to let you know what to expect.
