This client needed a new focal point in their living room. This table fit the bill nicely! It’s made from a single slab of some highly figured maple with a blackened oak leg and a handful of khaya (african mahogany) bowties inlaid to help stabilize the crack. The waterfall joint makes it look like the amazing figure and grain of this slab just folds down to create the front leg. The live edge and the waterfall joint really put the whole slab on display and reminds you of the tree that this beautiful piece of furniture came from.
